“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.”
Psalm 1:1-2
Introduction
This blog has been created for the members of KUMC of Koinonia and for all who long for the Word. Those who are just beginning are encouraged to first read the guide below on using the Sound of Whisper blog, and then choose an approach that fits their spiritual level. This guide is a brief introduction for those who desire spiritual growth through prayer and meditation on Scripture.
Through Jesus Christ, as we are restored as children of God, we discover brothers and sisters in faith. Believers gather as a church in their local communities to worship together, share fellowship, and form the body of the Lord, continuing the incarnational ministry of Jesus Christ.
This blog bears the best fruit when it is used within a community of faith. Friends in faith, sharing daily Scripture meditations and praying for one another within their small groups, are vital both for personal spirituality and for the maturity of the church. Through this practice, our church’s own unique spiritual DNA will be formed.
The daily commentary and meditation may be used for family worship with children. It will be a truly precious experience for the whole family to read the same Scripture, meditate on it, and share their reflections with one another.
We give thanks in faith, trusting that in 2026 as well, God will grant us the joy of daily meditating on and sharing the Word together with our spiritual companions.

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12
